The Lagos Appeal Court has upheld the Tribunal’s decision regarding the re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Governor and Obafemi Hamzat as Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
The unanimous judgment was delivered by a three-man panel consisting of Justice Yargata Nimpa, Justice Samuel Bola, and Justice Paul Bassey on Wednesday.
The court dismissed the appeal brought by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate in the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election, citing a lack of merit.
