AC Milan expresses interest in securing the services of Tyler Adams

AC Milan is considering Nigerian striker Akor Adams as a potential replacement for Oliver Giroud next summer, impressed by his outstanding performance since joining Montpellier from Lillestrom in the summer for €4.5m.

Adams, who has delivered an impressive goal return in Ligue 1, has swiftly become a key player for Montpellier, showcasing his talent with 13 goals in nine appearances, second only to France captain Kylian Mbappe on the scoring chart.
According to an Italian publication, Gianluca di Marzio, AC Milan have been left impressed with Adams’ performance in France and are considering making an offer for the Nigerian.

“Milan continues to be very active in recent weeks to monitor various profiles in view of the winter transfer market session. The new names for the defense and attack are Alessandro Marcandalli , a central defender born in 2002 for Reggiana (but owned by Genoa), and Akor Adams , a striker born in 2000 for Montpellier,” the website wrote.

“Akor Adams is showing off himself at the start of the season in Ligue 1 with seven goals scored in eleven French league appearances. Last season the Nigerian striker played for Lillestrøm SK, a team from the Eliteserien, the Norwegian top league, and scored fifteen goals in fifteen games. “

In 11 appearances, Adams has already contributed seven goals, nearly half of Montpellier’s total goals in Ligue 1 this season.
