The Nigerian striker showcased his prowess with one goal and one assist in three appearances for Bayer Leverkusen during the month of October.
The 22-year-old had 15 attempts on goal during the month—a league-high—taking his tally to 54 for the campaign, well ahead of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (36) who has the next-most attempts across the German top flight.
Boniface beat Xavi Simons and Brajan Gruda to the award.
He has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for Die Werkself this season.
