Manchester City forward Erling Haaland is “always present” in transfer links to Real Madrid, Diario AS reports, despite the “secondary role” he’s played as the club have prioritised chasing PSG’s Kylian Mbappé in recent seasons.
The newspaper lists a series of factors which mean Haaland is back on the agenda for Madrid, starting with the release clause which would allow him to leave City for a fee believed to be around €200m next summer.
Haaland’s agent Rafaela Pimenta attended Madrid’s Champions League game with Sporting Braga on Wednesday, although none of her clients were involved.
AS also cites Haaland’s friendship with former Borussia Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham, with the pair regularly exchanging comments on social media.
