Niger Tornadoes seek return to winning ways against holders Enyimba

Niger Tornadoes are gearing up to bring the heat to Enyimba as they seek to erase the memory of their recent loss to Sporting Lagos in Lagos.

The Ikon Allah Boys aim to uphold their strong home performance as they take the field against the reigning NPFL champions at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

Tornadoes’ head coach, Hamza Abarah, and players Abiodun Adebayo, Hassan Abubakar, and Yahuza Bala, have prior experience with the People’s Elephant, having represented the team in the past.

Bala, in particular, is eager to increase his goal tally, especially after having a goal disallowed in Lagos last Sunday.

Niger Tornadoes have secured two victories and suffered three losses in their first five games.

Enyimba, on the other hand, is in dire need of a positive outcome following a disappointing performance in the African Football League. Under the leadership of Finidi George, they currently occupy the 18th position on the NPFL table, with one win and one defeat this season.
