The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, have convened at the Oyo State Governors Lodge in Abuja for the party’s forum meeting.
As reported, a move by 24 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Fubara led to turmoil in the state on Monday, with the governor’s supporters staging a protest at the assembly complex in opposition to the plot.
The PDP Governors’ Forum, under the leadership of Bala Mohammed, is set to deliberate on various topics including the off-season elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo States, the political crisis in Rivers State, and other party-related matters.
