Additional turmoil is surfacing within the Rivers State House of Assembly, marked by the recent ousting of Edison Ehie from his position as the House Leader on Monday morning. A total of 24 Assembly members endorsed his removal.
It’s worth noting that the Assembly experienced a fire incident on Sunday night, which had a significant impact on the chamber.
These recent events may be linked to purported plans to initiate an impeachment process against Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
