The Wukari Catholic Diocese’s Communication Officer, John Jerome, revealed that gunmen believed to be kidnappers have abducted Thaddeus Terhembe, a Catholic priest within Wukari Catholic Diocese in Taraba State. The abduction took place at the Saint Ann’s Parish in Sarkin Kudu, Ibi Local Government Area.
Requesting prayers for the safety and swift return of the priest, Jerome emphasized the need for concern regarding his well-being.
In another related incident, two individuals were abducted in the Gulum area of Jalingo, the state’s capital. The abductors invaded the victims’ residence and seized them, leading them through an unknown path within the woods.
The Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Usman, verified the occurrence.
