FG approves FRSC PRO’s appointment as DCM

In a significant development, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, has granted approval for the elevation of Bisi Kazeem, the renowned spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), to the esteemed rank of Deputy Corps Marshal.

 

Kazeem, who had been serving as an Assistant Corps Marshal prior to this promotion, will be representing the South-West geopolitical zone of the country in his new capacity. This welcome announcement was made public through a statement issued by Deputy Corps Public Education Officer, Charles Edem, on Friday.

In his new role, Kazeem has been entrusted with the vital responsibility of overseeing the South-West region, reinforcing the FRSC’s commitment to ensuring road safety and security across the country. The Corps Marshal, Dauda Biu, commended Kazeem on his well-deserved promotion and urged him to continue demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to further the corporate mission of the agency.

Corps Marshal Biu emphasized the significance of this promotion, stating that it aligns with the administrative philosophy of the present leadership of the corps. The elevation is a testament to the FRSC’s commitment to rewarding excellence, diligence, and hard work among its dedicated staff members.

Kazeem, who currently serves as the head of the Corps Public Education Office, is a seasoned road safety administrator with a wealth of experience and expertise. Throughout his career, he has held various positions of authority and has actively participated in numerous training programs, both within and outside the country. Kazeem’s qualifications include a Master of Science in Transport Studies from Ogun State University and a Master of Arts in Peace and Security Studies from the University of Ilorin.

Furthermore, Kazeem is an esteemed member of professional organizations, including the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered, the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), and the International Association of Chiefs of Police in the United States. He also holds the prestigious title of an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
