Anambra State Seeks Partnerships to Enhance Land Administration Efficiency

The Anambra State Government, through its Ministry of Lands, is actively seeking partnerships to streamline land administration for the purpose of accelerating the state’s development in non-oil sectors.
Speaking at the conclusion of a two-day ‘Performance Appraisal Workshop’ in Awka on Saturday, Prof. Offornze Amucheazi, SAN, the State Commissioner for Lands, emphasized the government’s commitment to diversify the economy beyond oil-related industries.
The workshop, conducted by Arnold Ekweoba and Associates Limited, focused on evaluating the employees’ performance in public service.
Amucheazi highlighted the state’s heightened collaborative efforts to bolster its internally generated revenue by enhancing effective and efficient land use and administration practices.

He pointed out that participants at the workshop have shown their readiness to support the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration to actualise its blueprint which encompasses a paradigm shift in the conduct of public service.

The commissioner said, “We appreciate the governor for providing the necessary platform for the conduct of this workshop. The essence of the workshop is to equip  staff members of the ministry with the necessary knowledge and know-how towards achieving the dreams of the governor has for the state.

“The present administration would record remarkable achievements for the good of all. There is need for collaborations as we have also resolved to pursue the diversification of the economy in non-oil sectors as well as intensify effort at reinvigorating the Internally Generated Revenue machinery of the state through effective and efficient land use and administration regime.”
