Group empowers 300 Nigerian youths with PoS machines

The Intellectual Elite Youth Association of Nigeria has announced that it provided more than 300 youths with Point of Sale (PoS) machines to enhance economic growth.

Mr. Azeez Balogun, the President of the association, revealed this during the National Icon award ceremony in Asaba, the capital of Delta State.

He stated, “We facilitated PoS machines for all interested members throughout the federation at an affordable rate.

“We have been able to empower over 300 youths across the board in Nigeria, so we urge interested members to apply through their state chapter of the association.

“We have an entrepreneurial and skill acquisition programme for all interested members and facilitation of loans for all members through Waya Bank”

Balogun also the association had organized a scholarship programme for less privileged Nigerian pupils.

He requested for support of well-meaning individuals to assist the association with substance so that IEYAN would do more impactful programmes.

He called on Nigerians to bear with President Bola Tinubu’s government for the current hardship being experienced in the country.

He added that although his government may seem tough and harsh presently as a result of some drastic measures which he noted was germane to place Nigeria on the path of economic progress.

The Delta State Chairperson of IEYAN, Blessing Esemuede, said that the association is both a social and empowerment organization whose vision was to bring to the forefront the “not too young to run and act” in governance.

“It is a forum of all patriotic and progressive like-minded Nigeria Elites Youths with the sole aim of coming together to form a formidable pressure group capable of mobilizing and organizing the Nigeria youths into a strong fold for the actualization of the mission and vision of the association,” she said.
