Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq in the upcoming January transfer window.
After missing a large chunk of the last season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury, Sadiq has been performing well for Real Sociedad this season.
Despite only scoring one goal so far, the 26-year-old has featured in all of Real Sociedad’s LaLiga and UEFA Champions League games.
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Erik ten Hag has a serious interest in the striker and could make a move for him in the January window to supplement Rasmus Hojlund in attack. With the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford struggling this season, Manchester United is seeking offensive reinforcements.
