Destiny Etiko, acting as a digital town crier, took to her Instagram page to announce the alarming news that Patience Ozokwo’s WhatsApp number had fallen victim to a hacking incident.
She disclosed a series of messages requesting financial assistance, with the impostors claiming they were on the verge of sending a substantial 200k sum. However, demonstrating a shrewd dose of skepticism, Destiny insisted that the culprits send a voice note to verify their identity as Patience Ozokwo.
Destiny made it abundantly clear that the esteemed actress had never made such appeals before. She issued a caution to both colleagues and fans, urging them to exercise caution and remain vigilant.
Destiny Etiko wrote;
“Pls be careful o Mama’s watsap got hacked @patienceozokwo l almost sent 200k to them o But decided to tell the guy to send me a voice note to confirm cos MAMA has never told me such b4 and the person stopped chatting me Pls let us be guided”
