Chelsea Ease to 2-0 Victory Over Fulham in EPL

Chelsea bounced back to winning form with a 2-0 triumph over their local rivals, Fulham, at Craven Cottage on Monday night.

The opening goal came in the 18th minute when Ukraine’s Mudryk received a precise pass from Colwill and found the net with a left-footed shot.

Just one minute later, Broja extended Chelsea’s lead, capitalizing on a blunder by Ream and getting past Leno.

Broja squandered a significant opportunity in the second minute, rounding Leno but failing to convert the chance with a powerful shot.

Palmer made way into his first start for the Blues as he replaced Raheem Sterling, who coach Pochettino had said before the game that he hadn’t played for the past three days.

Blues’ front man, Nicolas Jackson, was suspended and made way for Armando Broja who is making his first start for the club since November 2022 after he was sidelined with a knee injury.

Notable among the home side’s starting lineup was former Chelsea attacker, Willian, who won two Premier League titles with the club.

Chelsea remained winless in their last three league games since they won against Kutin Town.

The Blues suffered a 1-0 on home soil against Aston Villa in their last league outing.

With the win at the Craven Cottage, Chelsea moved up to the 11th position, sharing eight points from their first seven league games, the same as Fulham who remains in the 13th position.

Taiwo Awoniyi’s Nottingham Forest occupies the 12th position with eight points as well.
