All levels of civil service employees now receive the N25,000 wage increase, according to President Bola Tinubu.
According to NTA, the President’s chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, revealed this.
The twenty-five thousand naira intervention previously announced by President Bola Tinubu for low-grade federal employees would now apply to all levels of employees, according to Gbajabiamila.
Tinubu had earlier on Sunday announced a N25,000 pay reward for low grade civil service employees as a way to lessen the impact of the strategy to eliminate gasoline subsidies.
During his nationwide broadcast on Sunday to commemorate the celebration of Independence Day, the President made the vow.
He said the pay raise would be in effect for a while.
