The announcement of her triumph in the eighth edition of the reality TV show occurred on Sunday night in Lagos, Nigeria.
Ilebaye achieved the distinction of becoming the third female contestant to claim victory in the reality show, following in the footsteps of Mercy Eke and Phyna. Her journey to victory spanned a period of 10 weeks within the confines of the Big Brother house, ultimately earning her the impressive ₦120 million cash prize.
Before the official proclamation of her victory, Big Brother summoned both Ilebaye and the first runner-up, Mercy Eke, to exit the house and step onto the grand stage. The All Stars season concluded in spectacular fashion, featuring electrifying performances by renowned Nigerian musical artists BNXN and Skales.
This particular BBNaija All Stars edition can be described as the most fiercely competitive one yet, given its star-studded cast. It premiered on July 23rd with 20 former housemates vying for the coveted N120 million cash prize, marking the highest prize amount in the history of BBNaija.
The initial roster included Pere, CeeC, Alex, Kiddwaya, Mercy, Tbaj, Angel, Neo, Alex, Cross, Seyi, Whitemoney, Uriel, Doyin, Princess, Soma, Ike, Adekunle, Venita, and Ilebaye.
