The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Dr Olayemi Cardoso as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The Senate also confirmed the appointments four other nominees as CBN Deputy Governors.
They were confirmed on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, following a screening by the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
