Alhaji Aminu Suleiman, the Founder of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO), praised Alhaji Nasir Gawuna, the APC gubernatorial candidate in the March 18 election, as a genuine man of the people on Sunday.
Suleiman, speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, stated that Gawuna, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Kano, possesses outstanding leadership qualities that have earned him the admiration of the people of Kano.
He congratulated Gawuna on his triumph at the Kano Gubernatorial Election Tribunal, highlighting that it represents a victory for democracy. Suleiman further noted that Gawuna has garnered a sterling reputation through his years of generosity and benevolence toward the people.
“Gawuna is the bride of Kano people any day any time and this is exactly why we are excited with the tribunal judgment.
“He is a formidable force to reckon with not just in Kano but in the whole country,” he said.
Suleiman lauded the tribunal judges for their impartiality and courage in upholding the truth without bias. He emphasized that the judgment is a clear demonstration of fairness that cannot be denied.
Chief Franklin Ebere-Njoku, the National Spokesperson of the group, also commended Gawuna’s determination in reclaiming his mandate. He encouraged him to continue bringing joy to the less privileged, which had propelled him to higher levels of success.
Ebere-Njoku called on the people of Kano to continue supporting Gawuna, emphasizing his ability to bring positive change to the state. The tribunal declared Gawuna as the rightful winner of the March 18 governorship election in Kano State, overturning the victory of Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf and ordering the issuance of a Certificate of Return to Gawuna.
