A Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer was reportedly struck and killed by a trailer in Lagos State during a stop-and-search that witnesses claimed was an attempt to extort money from the driver.
The FRSC officer was reportedly slain in Orile Agege while attempting to block a moving truck with a bribe.
An X, formerly Twitter, user, Nwa while sharing the video of the incident said, “FRSC Officer’s squeezed to death by a trailer in an attempt to stop an oncoming lorry 🚛 at Orile bus/stop Axis of Lagos State,”
Another user, Bishop while captioning the video said, “Watch how this Lagos FRSC officer lost his life by a trailer in Orile Agege cos of 100 naira bribe. Too sad things like this still happen in Tinubu Lagos.”
