Breaking: Bandits burn Catholic seminarian to death in Kaduna

In a tragic incident, it has been reported that a group of bandits invaded St. Raphael Parish in Fadan Kamantan, Kafanchan Diocese, located in Southern Kaduna, in the late hours of Thursday. During the attack, they set fire to the parish house.

Unfortunately, a seminarian named Na’aman Danlami was caught in the blaze and lost his life. His remains have been placed in the mortuary.

While some priests were able to escape during the attack, it’s important to note that there has been no official confirmation yet from either the state government or the Kaduna State Police Command regarding the incident.

However, Rev. John Hayab, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Kaduna State, has confirmed the tragic event. The attack underscores the ongoing security challenges in certain regions of Nigeria, including Southern Kaduna.

“It is very sad that killings and this type of evil are still going on,” Hayab said.
