Africa’s pop legends, Innocent Ujah Idibia, otherwise known as 2Face, and Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic are among the “100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa.” while globally acclaimed musician duo of Burna Boy and Davido missed out.
The duo joined other Africans in the list released by the organiser of 100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa, on its website.
Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Mohammed; FCT Minister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha; Founder, Heir Holdings, Tony Elumelu; Mohammed Abdullahi; Alhaji Imaan Ibrahim; business mogul, Femi Otedola, Dr Stephen Akintayo, and Farouk Khailann are other Nigerians who made the list.
Also on the list are renowned social media clergyman, Pastor Jerry Eze; Dr. Daniel Moses, Mohammed Dewji; Mesfin Tasew Bekele; AIG Aishatu Baju; Gabriel Aduda; Tein Jack-Rich; Tosin Eniolorunda, and Dr. Oluwatosin Olatujoye.
Other recipients across the continent included human rights activist and African Affairs commentator Prof P.L.O Lumumba; Rwanda President, Paul Kagame, Seyi Vodi, Hajiya Salamatu Muktah, Josephine Nwaeze, Ayo Animashaun and Prof Stevens Azaiki.
