Actress Lizzy Anjorin has strongly expressed her disapproval of being referred to as an ‘Alhaja.’ She passionately criticized steadfast fans who insisted on using Islamic titles she had previously embraced wholeheartedly as a Muslim.
In a video, the actress vehemently stated that she has chosen to distance herself from both Islam and the Muslim community due to enduring significant online bullying and harassment.
She explained that her decision is rooted in the perception that she didn’t receive substantial support from fellow Muslims or Islamic organizations during the challenging times she faced.
Lizzy said: “Don’t ever call me alhaja or iya adini again, I did not see any Muslim defend me on social media”
