All roads lead to the nation’s seat of power, Aso Rock, Abuja as a screened ministers are about now taking their oath of office, iwittesslive.com can report.
Words was a rife in Abuja that the ministers will be guided by President Tinubu’s eight-point agenda which he emphasized in his election manifesto, while he is also expected to set a standard for the cabinet to run with to ensure that the economy feels their impact.
“The President will likely set goals for them (ministers) in terms of the key objectives his administration seeks to achieve. He will speak generally to his expectations from the ministers and also challenge them on how they can work together in synergy to actualize his programs and policy as contained in his manifesto for the economic development of the country,’’ a presidential source noted.
Security and economic growth are top in the pecking order of President Tinubu’s vision after he endorsed 13 nominees as ministers, created new ministries, and change the names of a few others.
Like his predecessor, president Tinubu could not resist the post of Petroleum minister after being warned against it.
