Call me fisherman musicians-Portable blasts!

Zazoo crooner, Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, otherwise known as Portable said he belongs to ranks of fishermen musicians who pave the way for others to blossom rather than block them

In an interview with the Honest Bunch Podcast, the Portable hinted that he is determined to keep working hard on his music career irrespective of criticism and challenges that come his way

“I’m not a farmer, I’m a fisherman. There are farmer musicians and there are also fisherman musicians.

“Farmer musicians use streaming farms to boost their positions on charts. An artist who is number one today, after one week would be charting at 174. That shows that streaming farms are real in our industry,” he added.

Recall Portable revealed the main reasons behing the feud between him and Seyi Vibez, pointing out that dispute started after he requested the Gwagwalada singer to attend his 202oncert at Femi Kuti’s African Shrine, but Seyi Vibez didn’t deem it necessary to honour him with a reply.

“When I blew up, Seyi Vibez begged me to perform at his show. I didn’t receive a dime. I even spent N500, 000. I was injured and robbed at his concert by hoodlums. They took all my jewelry. I didn’t ask Seyi to compensate me. It was my manager that I blamed for bringing me to the show.

“But when I was about to headline my show at Fela African Shrine, I invited Seyi Vibez who just hit stardom then, and he snubbed me. That is the genesis of the beef between me and Seyi Vibez.”
