The Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB) arrested a Nigerian drug dealer posing as a pastor, who was helping drug smugglers.
The suspect was caught with 264 ecstasy pills worth INR 10.5 lakh in Hyderabad.
Uka was caught by anti-narcotic officers in Hyderabad for supplying ecstasy pills. He was charged with violation of the NDPS Act by the Karnataka police in Bengaluru. TSNAB officials claimed that Uka had contacts with smugglers and peddlers in Hyderabad. Uka, also known as Davison, identified himself as a pastor.
Anand said, “He also claims himself as chairman of All India Nigerian Students and Community Association. The objective of this association is to arrange bails and provide legal assistance to drug offenders from Nigeria who get arrested in India.”
The security officers known as sleuths said the drug kingpin also hides his identity and introduces himself under various fake names.
Officials also found that he was using a fake visa and that he bought several SIM cards to pursue his criminal activities.
