JUST IN: Ogun State Governor Appoints Lekan Adeniran as Chief Press Secretary

In a significant development, Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has officially sanctioned the selection of Mr. Lekan Adeniran to take up the role of Chief Press Secretary.

The declaration was unveiled on Tuesday in an official statement released by Tokunbo Talabi, the Secretary to the State Government.

Mr. Lekan Adeniran, a seasoned professional in the field of Mass Communication, brings with him a wealth of experience that spans over three decades as a journalist.

His journey in journalism commenced in 1992 at The Guardian, where he embarked on reporting duties related to the Social Democratic Party, the Lagos State House of Assembly, and the Governor’s Office in Alausa, Ikeja. In 2001, he transitioned to the then newly established Daily Independent.

Adeniran’s contributions extended to various reputable newspapers, including the Compass, Next, and National Mirror.

Prior to his recent appointment, Mr. Adeniran held the position of editor at Western Post, an esteemed online newspaper publication.

This strategic move by the Ogun State Government highlights its dedication to enhancing efficient communication and engagement with the public, ensuring that accurate information reaches all stakeholders promptly.
