Irked by the Federal decision to arm the Red Cross in the face of any unexpected crossfire, Boko Haram has vowed to attack Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), whom they referred to as “Yan Red Cross.
This piece of Information was released by counter-insurgency and security expert on the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama on his verified Twitter handle. The terror group also vowed to reclaim lost territories after Operation Hadin Kai launched attacks through its ground and air forces. Boko Haram also accused the Red Cross of collaborating with the military to attack them in their enclaves.
“We are here to announce loud and clear that we are fully back to reclaim all the territories we lost to infidels.
“For you, Red Cross, you are elated because they gave arms to you; let it be known to you that you cannot win against Islam. We depend on the power of Allah and by his might, we will conquer.” One of the armed terrorists said in Hausa
