Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State staged a quick return from London on Sunday to visits General Hospital, Odan, and Island Maternity Hospital, iwitnesslive.com can report.
The Governor who was spotted at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon to cheer his darling club, Arsenal to a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest return home only to commence work in earnest.
The essence of his visits to Odan General Hospital, witnesslive.com gathered was to assess the level of facilities at the hospital and the medical quarters.
Speaking on his official Facebook account, Sanwo-Olu stated that his visit to the hospitals was centered on determining the level of intervention needed, while his unscheduled visit to the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital was to follow up on the government’s decision to offer free antenatal services and free birth deliveries for women
