Comrade Nasir Idris, the Governor of Kebbi State, has extended his condolences to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State and the Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, following the tragic collapse of a mosque that resulted in numerous fatalities.
A press release, signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, was issued and shared with the media in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday evening.
Governor Idris expressed his deep sorrow over the unfortunate incident that claimed the lives of 12 individuals. He described it as a grievous loss not only to Zaria and Zazzau Emirate but also to the entirety of Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.
Idris conveyed his heartfelt sympathies and offered prayers for the souls of the departed. He urged the Emirate and the people of Kaduna State to accept the divine will with fortitude. Additionally, he beseeched Allah (SWT) to grant the departed souls Jannatul Firdaus.
In his condolences to the families affected by the tragedy, the governor also prayed for the swift recovery of those who were injured. He earnestly implored the Almighty to prevent any recurrence of such distressing incidents.
