In a desperate effort to ensure that peace reign in the corridor of power as well as in the party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Edo State chapter has commenced a reconciliation process between Gov. Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Philip Shaibu
Chairman of Edo PDP, Tony Aziegbemi, told the media on Tuesday that the party is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the fracas did not degenerate all-time mother of all fight just at the state prepare for September 2 council elections in the state.
“Leaders of the party are not sleeping on this matter. We are looking at various options. You should expect that such rifts would exist because even identical twins have different Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA)
“More so, when it comes to the political ambitions of human beings, the DNA can go haywire. So, as a party, we will control it; we have it under control. The rift will soon be a thing of the past.”
“With this, we wish to state very clearly that we are ready.
“As a party, we have done the necessary things. All arrangements have been made. It is a case of catch us if you can, in terms of other political parties, as far as September elections are concerned.” Aziegbemi said
