In Ondo town, the headquaters of the Ondo West LGA, detectives from the Ondo State Police Command’s anti-crime section apprehended a suspected online fraudster also known as “Yahoo boy” who was carrying a human skull and other fetish items.
According to Daily Trust, the culprit, named as 26-year-old Franklin Akinyosuyi, was apprehended by police after the landlord’s kids saw the human skull that he was allegedly keeping in a black polythene bag at the area of the compound where he was staying.
The children of the landlord raised the alarm about the things, according to a source who talked to our reporter on the condition of anonymity, and this prompted the police to be invited to the property.
Confirming the arrest on Sunday, the Ondo Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said the suspect had been placed under interrogation in its custody.
