On Monday, the National/State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal in Delta State made a significant decision by removing Hon. Ngozi Omolie of the Labour Party (LP) from her position as the Member of the House of Representatives representing Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency of Delta State.
As a result of this ruling, the Tribunal declared Hon. Ndudi Elumelu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the rightful winner of the February 25 National Assembly election in the constituency.
Hon. Elumelu, who had previously occupied the legislative seat, will now take back his position as the elected representative.
