Super Falcons gaffer, Randy Waldrum has showered encomium on goalkeeper Chiamaka Nadozie for her heroic performance as Nigeria held Canada to a goaless draw at the ongoing FIFA Womens World Cup in Australia.
The Paris FC of France goalkeeper was called to duty in the 50th minute when she saved Cristine Sinclaire’s penalty to earn Nigeria a point against the Olympics champions on Friday morning.
“Chiamaka has done this before and I will say this and I will embarrass her in front of you all, but I think she’s one of the best young goalkeepers in the world right now,” he said.
Nigeria faces Ireland Republic in their next game.
