It was indeed a night to forget for Afrobeat star, Pascal Odinaka otherwise known as Poco Lee after suspected cultists disrupted his Homecoming” concert and unleash mayhem on fun seekers on Thursday.
The “Homecoming” concert by Poco Lee, an alumnus of Lagos State University (LASU), was staged at the University campus along Ojo-Lasu road.
Eyewitness account reported that the hoodlums stormed the venue of the event during its course, causing chaos, resulting in injuries to popular singer, Bella Shmurda and a host of others.
Already, pictures and videos circulating on social media showcased the aftermath of the attack, highlighting the injuries sustained by many individuals.
Reacting to the incident, Poco Lee, the host of the concert, expressed his dismay about the incident in a separate video.
He voiced his frustration, questioning how future events could proceed smoothly in such circumstances. He mentioned that all the promised guest artists were present, but the disruptive actions of the hoodlums prevented the concert from proceeding as planned.
The disruption of the “Homecoming” concert by suspected cultists has raised concerns about the safety and security of such events and the need for measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
