The Ogun State Government website has been compromised, according to The Punch.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, our correspondent discovered that the website, www.ogunstate.gov.ng, had been hacked.
The homepage displayed the message, “Hacked by Aliester Crowley. Update your security. Greetings from Maldives,” at around 10:44 a.m.
When contacted, the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, said he was unaware of the situation.
He declared that swift action would be taken on the development.
“I am not aware, but I will inform the ICT head,” Talabi told our correspondent.
