The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos West Senatorial candidate, Segun Adewale, has opened a case before the National Assembly Election Tribunal three man panel chaired by Hon.Justice Ashu Ewah.
The petitioner faults the outcome of the election result which declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mrs Idiat Adebule winner.
PDP counsel, Edmund Z Biriomoni submitted the INEC form EC 001, EC 009 and also cited precedence in case of Rivers State to the Court with full documentary.
Sitting at the High Court of Lagos (Annex) Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), the tribunal is set to take the final address on the case today, as the PDP plans to present a witness on the matter.
The tribunal also reviewed the election documents tendered and marked it as exhibit for further hearings, having listened to the INEC witness who was subpoenaed by the court the documents from each polling units were cross checked.
Other Members of the three-man panel are Justice Abdullahi Ozegya and M.A Sambo.
