Ebuka, Ruth Kadiri, Mr Macaroni, other Nigerian celebrities join new social media app, Threads

Nigerian celebrities and influencers have been quick to embrace the newly launched social media platform called Threads, created by Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta.

Prominent Afrobeats superstars such as Adekunle Gold, Blaqbonez, Chike, Sean Tizzle, Maleek Berry, YCEE, Dremo, Bayani, and Darey Art Alade have joined the platform, which is being touted as a potential rival to Twitter.

Additionally, notable Nollywood stars like Alexx Ekubo, Beverly Naya, Ruth Kadiri, and Ronke Odusanya have also become active members of the app.

Popular kit makers such as Mr. Macaroni, Crazeclown, Josh2funny, comedian Kennyblaq, and TV host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu have also hopped on board the Threads platform.

Several other notable celebrities have also joined the Threads app. This includes renowned film producers Pheelz and Samklef, influential social media personalities Tunde Ednut and Linda Ikeji, as well as the esteemed health influencer, Aproko Doctor.
