Newcastle tipped to land Chukwueze as Milan frown at £26m price-tag

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United may have be given the green light to land Super Eagles Villarreal forward, Samuel Chukwueze after AC Milan raised doubt about its readiness to cough-out what they consider as £26m astronomical price tag

Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has told GiveMeSport that Newcastle United are interested in signing Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal in the summer transfer window.

Galetti has added that Arsenal, Liverpool and AC Milan are also keen on Chukwueze, who is available for £26 million.

The reporter said: “Chukwueze is on the radar of some Premier League clubs.

“Also, in Serie A, AC Milan are really interested in him. But, the price tag, which is set at around €30m (£26m), is considered a little high for the Italian club.

“Coming back to England – Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle United are on his tracks.”
