Nyesom Wike and Aminu Tambuwal’s dreams of becoming minority leaders of the Senate went up in flames as both senators bite the dust on Tuesday morning
The dou lost out in the battle for supremacy as the Senate President announced names of minority leaders despite series of lobbying days before the election while Tambuwa
While Wike, who held a series of meetings with Senate President Godswill Akpabio, pushed for a particular senator, while Tambuwal made known his interest in the minority leadership position
But on Tuesday, Akpabio went ahead to announce the new leaders of the minority caucus. Below are the names and positions of minority leaders
