Seyi Law, the stage name for Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile, expressed his strong disapproval towards those who criticized the extensive motorcade accompanying President Bola Tinubu upon his arrival in Lagos from London. Seyi Law referred to these individuals as “idiots.”
According to Seyi Law, the president’s motorcade comprised less than 10% of the total number of vehicles in the convoy.
He asserted that the critics’ “foolishness” in presuming that Tinubu’s motorcade consisted of all the cars was the best indicator that they were mentally ill.
Seyi Law took to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts: “Those shouting about the president’s convoy, are you sure you are okay?
“Well, how else do you know some people are mentally ill?
“The fact that some idi*ts can’t tell that the president’s motorcade is less than 10% of the entire convoy of cars shows the level of foolishness we have to deal with in this country.”
In response to the criticisms surrounding the extensive motorcade accompanying President Tinubu upon his return from London for Sallah, the comedian highlighted that the same critics would have raised questions about the president’s legitimacy if there had been no crowd to welcome him at the airport.
The comedian pointed out the irony of the situation, acknowledging the varying perspectives and judgments that arise in such scenarios. It is worth noting that President Tinubu’s motorcade had sparked significant criticisms and discussions.
