Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho could be heading to AS Roma as Europa Cup finalists joined race to sign the Nigerian foward this summer.
Roma are seeking a suitable replacement for former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham who faces a long spell in the physioroom after he cropped up injury against Spezia.
Italian sports handle La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Roma has identified Iheanacho as a potential replacement for Abraham given his eyes for goal and wealth of experience in the English Premier League.
The club executives, Tiago Pinto and Lina Souloukou have flown to England to conclude discussions over two other summer targets and will make an enquiry about the Nigerian striker.
The 26-year-old joined Leicester City in 2017 and featured in 206 appearances in all competitions notching 55 and thirty-three assists.
