Nantes sets to dump Moses Simon

By David Kabiyesi

L’Equipe reported on Friday evening that Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon could be shown the door given his poor input in the just concluded season.

Tribune Nantais reported that Moses could be eased out of the club even with one year left in his contract after the petit winger was declared surplus to requirement.

Moses could only muster four goals and two assists in 46 appearances for The Cannaries. Sadly, he failed to score a goal in the last six month to raise doubt about his ability lead the club’s quest to punch above its weight in the coming season.

This is in contrast with his form in the previous season when he scored 6 goals and provided 8 assists and played a key role as Nantes won the Coupe De France.

The left winger initially joined Nantes on a loan deal in the 2019-2020 season from Levante before he was signed on a permanent deal at the end of that season.
