Erstwhile Super Eagles weapon of mass destruction, Obafemi Martins said he won’t be filling for lawsuit against a certain media (not iwitnesslive.com) who reported that one of his girlfriend gave birth to quadruplets.
Obagoal close friend confirmed to iwitnesslive that although the former Inter Milan striker was furious with the report, but he has made up his mind not file for libel.
” The report didn’t go down well with him at all but he has decided not to file for libel against the media organisation.
” The report was fake, Obagoal did not have quadruplets outside his marriage. The picture that is circulated had to do with Obagoal visits to one of those Orphanages on behalf of his foundation
“The so called press guy, in a desperate bid to be popular wrote that Obagoal gave birth to quadruplets. People should endeavour to verify their report before going to press,” he told iwitnesslive.com
Recall Obafemi Martins had spent Christmas with visits to hospitals and orphanages in Lagos in 2012. The 28 year old footballer, on behalf of his foundation gave gifts to three hospitals and orphanages. Obagoal spent about N10million on hospital bills for new born babies at Island Maternity hospital.
