Leicester City duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have been confirmed for 2023 AFCON qualigiers between Sierra leone and Nigeria, iwitnesslive.com can report.
Although, the lsts have not been made public by the media department of Nigeria football Federation (NFF), but Leicester City confirmed on it’s website that an invitation letters have been sent to both players.
Also, Brentford defensive midfielder, Frank Onyeka is also in line to face Sierra Leone after the club confirmed his invitation on it’s website too.
Sierra Leone will welcome Nigeria in matchday five encounter slated for Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Liberia on June 18, 2023.
Super Eagles are first on the log in Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and would qualify for next year’s tournament in Ivory Coast with a game to spare if they beat the Leone Stars.
