Leicester City we’re relegated in an agonising fashion despite beating West Ham after nine-year stay in the top-tier of English football.

The club agreed to release seven players after consultation, and Ndidi seems ready to stay at the club to weather the storm together.

Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Daniel Amartey, Nampalys Mendy, Ryan Bertrand, Ayoze Perez and Tete have all agreed to leave the club.

Recall Ndidi had penned an emotional message to the club fan appealing to keep believing in the club despite recent setback.

” I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the team’s relegation. Gutted that we couldn’t make it at the end. We understand how much you invested in supporting us throughout the season and we deeply regret letting you down.

” Please know that your unwavering support is invaluable to us, and we are grateful for your loyalty to the club. Thank you for your understanding and continued support,” he write on his verified Instagram account.
