Iya Gbonkan took to the online platform to make a heartfelt plea, emphasizing her desire for people to express their appreciation for her while she is still alive, rather than solely after her passing. She expressed her longing to be celebrated during her lifetime.
Furthermore, she candidly shared her feelings of humiliation whenever she found herself in situations where she had to hail bikes or rely on public buses for transportation when going out.
