By David Kabiyesi

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde admitted that the removal of fuel subsidy by President Bola Tinubu will be tough on Nigerians given the state of the economy.

Spotted in Abuja on Friday alongside ex-Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike during their nocturnal visits to Aso Rock to assure Tinubu of their support, Makinde maintained that the President has started on a sound note with the subsidy removal.

He then urged Nigerians to rally behind the President, pointing out that tough decisions such as subsidy removal would benefit the nation at the long run.

” We discussed subsidy issue. It’s something that is on top of public discuss right now. We know it’s a tough decision for the people and he needs the support of everybody to see this through.”
