Abia lawmaker implores Otti to concentrate on the Aba roads

Mr. Obinna Ichita, addressing the Aba South Voting Public in the Abia Place of Gathering, has exhorted Gov. Alex Otti to focus on streets in Aba, the modern center of the state.

In a statement released on Friday in Umuahia, Ichita made the appeal and thanked Otti and his deputy, Mr. Ikechukwu Emetu, for their successful Monday inauguration.

He claims that the governor made a promise to put an end to the state’s administrative incompetence.

I also want to call on him to immediately assist us in Aba South.

“The priority attention of his administration is required on Port Harcourt Road, Uratta, Omuma, Obohia, Ohanku, Cemetery, and other roads in our constituency.

“We have certainty that he will regard our request,” Ichita said.

He praised Otti for declaring an emergency in the refuse disposal sector.

He stated, “A God’s Own State shouldn’t be littered with dirt if cleanliness is next to godliness.”

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ichita was the running mate of Prof. Gregory Ibe of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the governorship poll that took place on March 18 and resulted in Otti’s victory.
