Not less that 20 presidents have been invited to grace Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration as Nigeria’s 16th President.
Tinubu will be next in line as Nigeria mark her 7th consecutive democratic transition since 1999.
Although, Federal government had extended invitations to some presidents, heads of government as well as heads of international organisations to grace the occasion, but just a handful of them might show-up today after inauguration Committee moved most of the event to Democracy Day, which is June 12.
Tinubu is not alone in the thick of things as 28 states governors will also take oath of office today
The states are Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta.
Others are Ebonyi, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara states.
