AC Milan youth prodigy, Victor Eletu believes the Flying Eagles can go all the way to the finals of FIFA U-20 World Cup barring any unforsees circumstances.
Reacting to his side’s 2–0 win over Italy in Wednesday, Eletu expressed delight with overall team performance, adding that the players derived strength from playing as a unit.
He stressed that team’s character will go a long way in propelling the Flying Eagles to greater heights as the competition progresses.
“I am very happy with how the team played because we showed great character.
” I know we can go far in this competition because we have a very good team.
“We played as a team and that’s why we could beat a strong opponent like Italy,” Eletu, who plays his club football in Italy with AC Milan, he said
